ENT clinic records: keeping audiograms, endoscopy images and post-procedure follow-up together

An ENT visit produces several kinds of evidence — an examination, an audiogram, endoscopic images, sometimes a procedure — and each is usually stored differently. This guide shows how to keep them on one record and follow up after procedures.

Buyer checklist

  • 01Record a structured ear, nose and throat examination
  • 02Keep audiometry and endoscopy on the patient record
  • 03Document in-clinic procedures with consent
  • 04Not lose post-procedure follow-ups

The problem

Follow-up is either blanket and wasteful, or forgotten

A Journal of Laryngology & Otology study of follow-up after middle-ear ventilation tubes found 72% of appointments in the first cohort led to no medical intervention. The authors recommend one post-operative review with audiometry about three months after surgery, and further review for children with poor hearing, early extrusion, blockage or infection. Doing that selectively needs the audiogram, endoscopy findings and procedure note in one place, not on separate machines and paper.

How Clinov solves it

Every ENT finding on one timeline

Yuktii gives ENT clinics a structured ear, nose and throat examination, a place on the patient record for endoscopy images and audiometry reports, and procedure templates with consent — plus follow-ups and billing on the same visit.

Use one examination structure for ear, nose and throat

Recording each region in the same order every time makes visits comparable and catches gaps. A structured examination, rather than free text, also makes the note readable by another doctor. Yuktii's ENT examination is structured by region.

File reports against the patient, not the machine

Audiograms and endoscopy images are most useful next to the note from the day they were taken. Upload or attach them to the patient record so they open with the history. Yuktii keeps endoscopy and audiometry reports on the record; it does not claim direct integration with specific audiometry or endoscopy devices.

Document procedures with consent

For in-clinic procedures, record consent first and the procedure note straight after. Yuktii's procedure templates and consent forms sit on the same visit, so the note, consent and bill agree.

Schedule the post-procedure review at the time of the procedure

Set the review date before the patient leaves and let reminders bring them back. Otherwise the follow-up is entirely dependent on the patient. Follow-ups and reminders in Yuktii are created from the visit.

Common questions

Does Yuktii integrate with audiometry machines?

No direct device integration is claimed. Audiometry reports and endoscopy images can be kept on the patient record, so they sit beside the consultation note.

Can an ENT clinic use the free plan?

Yes. The first 20 patients are free with the full ENT workflow and no credit card.

Can a general or paediatric clinic that also sees ENT cases use it?

Yes. Specialties share one platform, and combined practices are supported, so an ENT examination can sit alongside general or paediatric records.

Your data

Your data, your reports, your call

Everything you enter belongs to your clinic

Clinic and patient data is the clinic’s own. A clinic admin can download all of it whenever needed as one Excel workbook, with a sheet each for patients, appointments, treatments, prescriptions, billing, payments, inventory and staff.

Moving from another software?

Send us your existing records as an Excel or CSV file. Our team maps the columns, checks every row for problems and imports your patients, appointments, treatments, prescriptions, invoices and payments after review. An import can be rolled back if something is wrong. Talk to us about switching.
