The problem
Photos are taken on personal phones, often without a documented consent
In a cross-sectional study of 300 dermatology patients at a tertiary centre in Tamil Nadu, only 47.7% reported being asked for consent before being photographed, 58.7% of those consents were verbal, and smartphones were used in 67.5% of the cases where photography took place. Photos in a gallery, a sitting count on a slip and a misfiled consent page make it impossible to line up how the skin looked three sittings ago.
How Clinov solves it
One record from first photo to last sitting
Yuktii attaches clinical photos to the patient record and the visit, plans procedure courses as multiple sittings, and keeps consent forms and billing on the same record, so the timeline is complete without searching.
