01The ENT clinic day: before and after
Without one system, a ENT clinic typically keeps ent examination on paper, appointments in a separate register, and billing apart from the patient record — so reception, the doctor and billing are each working from a different source for the same visit. On Yuktii, one visit record carries the reception queue, ent examination and endoscopy & audiometry on record, prescriptions and GST billing together, so nothing has to be re-entered or reconciled by hand between the front desk and the ENT doctor.
02Start with Patient Records
Most ENT clinics begin with Patient Records and ENT Examination, then add Endoscopy & Audiometry on record and Procedures & Consent once the team is comfortable. Appointments, prescriptions, GST billing and follow-up run on the same patient record throughout. For the full ENT examination, documentation and patient journey, see Yuktii for ENT.
03What the ENT examination records
The structured ent examination has 8 sections: Ear, Nose, Throat, Oral Cavity, Hearing, Voice, Neck / Lymph Nodes and Special Tests. Findings are picked from lists or typed in, and are saved on the visit record. Some sections record specific fields, for example ear (external ear, ear canal and tympanic membrane), nose (nasal cavity, septum, turbinates and sinus tenderness) and throat (pharynx, tonsils and post. pharyngeal wall).
04What is ready when you enable ENT
When a clinic enables ENT in Yuktii, the app creates a structured ent examination module, 85 quick-pick presets for complaints, examination findings and diagnoses, 8 prescription templates, 21 medicines, 4 consent forms and 10 procedure templates. All of it is editable, so you can rename, remove or add to it to match how your clinic works. The presets speed up documentation; the clinician decides what is recorded and prescribed.
05Examples from the ENT presets
Complaints you can pick from include Ear pain, Ear discharge, Reduced hearing, Ringing in ears, Sore throat and Nasal congestion. Examination findings include Ear wax noted, Ear discharge noted, Tympanic membrane perforation, Throat congestion and Tonsil enlargement. Diagnosis labels include Otitis media, Otitis externa, Sinusitis, Tonsillitis and Allergic rhinitis. These are starting labels to speed up note-taking, not clinical advice.
06ENT prescription templates
The starter templates are Sinusitis, Acute Otitis Media, Otitis Externa, Allergic Rhinitis, Tonsillitis / Pharyngitis, Wax Impaction, Epistaxis and Laryngitis. Each is a pre-filled list the doctor edits before issuing, and the finished prescription can be downloaded as a PDF or sent on WhatsApp.
07Try it on real ENT patients
The first 20 patients are free with the full ENT workflow and no credit card, so you can run a genuine week of clinic before deciding. Solo then starts from ₹799/month and Pro from ₹1,499/month, depending on your specialty.
08Ear, nose and throat examined by structure
The ENT examination has an Ear section (external ear, canal, tympanic membrane), a Nose section (nasal cavity, septum, turbinates, sinus tenderness), a Throat section (pharynx, tonsil grade, posterior pharyngeal wall) and an Oral cavity section.
09Hearing recorded per ear
Hearing is recorded for the right and left ear, with a screening result, tuning-fork findings and Rinne test, so a hearing complaint is described the same way at follow-up.
10Neck, voice and special tests
Neck and lymph nodes, thyroid findings and voice quality have their own fields, and the Special Tests section has room for endoscopy and tympanometry results.
11A structured ear, nose and throat examination
The examination is structured by region, so findings are recorded in the same order every visit and are readable by another doctor.
12Endoscopy images and audiometry reports on the record
Endoscopy images and audiometry reports are kept on the patient record so hearing and endoscopic findings can be compared across visits. Direct integration with specific audiometry or endoscopy devices is not claimed.
13In-clinic procedures with consent
Procedure templates and consent forms for common in-clinic ENT procedures sit on the same visit as the note and the bill.
14What Yuktii does not do
It is built for outpatient practice: it does not run inpatient wards or operation theatres. Test the exact workflow you depend on in the free plan before committing; the first 20 patients are free with the full platform.
