The problem
A systematic review of 20 studies in musculoskeletal outpatient physiotherapy (Manual Therapy, 2010) found strong evidence that poor treatment adherence was associated with low baseline physical activity, low adherence to exercise during treatment, low self-efficacy, depression, anxiety, helplessness, poor social support and increased pain during exercise. It also noted that most research had studied patient factors rather than barriers introduced by clinics. Each missed session is an empty slot and a course that stalls before the patient has recovered.

How it works
Yuktii ships assessment findings as presets (reduced range of motion, muscle weakness, gait and posture), so a knee at week one and the same knee at week six are described in the same terms. Findings sit on the patient record instead of a separate assessment sheet, which keeps progress comparable between visits.
A physiotherapy course is booked as a set number of sittings: manual therapy, electrotherapy, post-surgical rehab or sports rehab. Seeing sitting three of eight on the record shows immediately who is mid-course, who is due, and who has stopped coming.
Each sitting gets its own short note against the course, with consent forms held on the same record. The next therapist opens the patient and sees what was done last time without asking.
Progress tracking and follow-ups run against the course so the clinic can see improvement, plateau or drop-off, and decide on discharge or a change of plan on evidence rather than memory. Treatment and home-exercise plans are recorded on the record and can be shared with the patient as a PDF.
Billing is per sitting with GST-ready invoices, so part-paid packages and pending balances are visible per patient. Appointments, reminders and WhatsApp messages come from the same record.
