01The diabetes clinic day: before and after
Without one system, a diabetes clinic typically keeps vitals & hba1c / lipid results on paper, appointments in a separate register, and billing apart from the patient record — so reception, the doctor and billing are each working from a different source for the same visit. On Yuktii, one visit record carries the reception queue, vitals & hba1c / lipid results and clinical documentation, prescriptions and GST billing together, so nothing has to be re-entered or reconciled by hand between the front desk and the diabetes doctor.
02Start with Patient Records
Most Diabetes clinics begin with Patient Records and Vitals & HbA1c / Lipid Results, then add Clinical Documentation and Dose Titration Notes once the team is comfortable. Appointments, prescriptions, GST billing and follow-up run on the same patient record throughout. For the full diabetes examination, documentation and patient journey, see Yuktii for diabetes.
03What the Diabetes examination records
The structured diabetes & endocrine examination has 7 sections: Anthropometry, BP / Cardiovascular Risk, Thyroid, Diabetic Foot, Neuropathy, Retina / Eye Screen and Injection Sites / Other. Findings are picked from lists or typed in, and are saved on the visit record. Some sections record specific fields, for example anthropometry (weight (kg), bmi, waist circ (cm) and signs), bp / cardiovascular risk (bp and postural drop) and diabetic foot (skin, deformity, pulses and sensation (10g monofilament)).
04What is ready when you enable Diabetes
When a clinic enables diabetes in Yuktii, the app creates a structured diabetes & endocrine examination module, 82 quick-pick presets for complaints, examination findings and diagnoses, 8 prescription templates and 20 medicines. All of it is editable, so you can rename, remove or add to it to match how your clinic works. The presets speed up documentation; the clinician decides what is recorded and prescribed.
05Examples from the Diabetes presets
Complaints you can pick from include Excessive thirst, Frequent urination, Increased hunger, Weight loss, Weight gain and Fatigue. Examination findings include Elevated blood glucose, Elevated blood pressure, Elevated BMI, Reduced sensation in feet and Diabetic foot ulcer. Diagnosis labels include Type 2 diabetes mellitus, Type 1 diabetes mellitus, Prediabetes, Diabetic neuropathy and Hypothyroidism. These are starting labels to speed up note-taking, not clinical advice.
06Diabetes prescription templates
The starter templates are Type 2 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes (Advanced/Combination), Type 1 Diabetes, Prediabetes, Hypothyroidism, Hyperthyroidism, Diabetic Dyslipidemia and Gestational Diabetes (Diet + Insulin). Each is a pre-filled list the doctor edits before issuing, and the finished prescription can be downloaded as a PDF or sent on WhatsApp.
07Try it on real Diabetes patients
The first 20 patients are free with the full Diabetes workflow and no credit card, so you can run a genuine week of clinic before deciding. Solo then starts from ₹799/month and Pro from ₹1,499/month, depending on your specialty.
08Diabetic foot examination
The diabetic foot section records skin (including callus and ulcer), deformity, pulses and 10 g monofilament sensation, so foot risk is examined the same way at each review.
09Neuropathy and retinal screening
Neuropathy findings include ankle jerk, vibration and pinprick, with a field for vibration perception threshold, and the retina section records whether a fundus screen was done and its grade.
10Anthropometry, blood pressure and thyroid
Weight, BMI, waist circumference and signs such as acanthosis nigricans are recorded, with blood pressure against target and thyroid findings, and injection sites can be checked for lipohypertrophy.
