Each appointment is booked for a doctor and a chair, and the clinic sets how many chairs it has. You choose the length of each appointment, so a quick check-up and a long procedure take the time they need. Bookings respect the clinic's working hours, and unless the clinic allows overlap, the same patient cannot be double-booked.
An appointment can be booked as scheduled, walk-in, same-day extra, emergency or a manual override. Patients get a queue token for the day, and a priority can be set, so reception can slot a walk-in or an emergency in without wrecking the day's diary.
An appointment moves through scheduled, checked in, in progress and completed, or is marked cancelled (with a reason) or no-show. The doctor's start and completion times are recorded, and Yuktii stops a second active patient being started on a chair or with a doctor who is still busy.
Yuktii sends a WhatsApp confirmation when an appointment is booked, and a reminder about an hour before the visit. Neither is sent to a patient who has declined notifications. Reminders use the contact number saved on the patient's record.
A clinic can switch on a public booking link, choose the length of online slots, and set how many hours in advance a booking must be made, so the front desk is not the only way to get a slot.
