01The pediatrics clinic day: before and after
Without one system, a pediatrics clinic typically keeps growth & milestone tracking on paper, appointments in a separate register, and billing apart from the patient record — so reception, the doctor and billing are each working from a different source for the same visit. On Yuktii, one visit record carries the reception queue, growth & milestone tracking and immunisation status & follow-up, prescriptions and GST billing together, so nothing has to be re-entered or reconciled by hand between the front desk and the pediatrics doctor.
02Start with Patient Records
Most Pediatrics clinics begin with Patient Records and Growth & Milestone Tracking, then add Immunisation Status & Follow-up and Vitals (age-aware) once the team is comfortable. Appointments, prescriptions, GST billing and follow-up run on the same patient record throughout. For the full pediatrics examination, documentation and patient journey, see Yuktii for pediatrics.
03What the Pediatrics examination records
The structured pediatric examination has 8 sections: Anthropometry & Growth, General Examination, Systemic Examination, Development (Milestones), Immunisation, Feeding & Nutrition, Newborn / Infant Specific and Additional Findings. Findings are picked from lists or typed in, and are saved on the visit record. Some sections record specific fields, for example anthropometry & growth (percentile / z-score and growth interpretation), general examination (activity, hydration, signs, anterior fontanelle and respiratory distress) and systemic examination (respiratory, cvs, abdomen, cns and ent / throat).
04What is ready when you enable Pediatrics
When a clinic enables pediatrics in Yuktii, the app creates a structured pediatric examination module, 93 quick-pick presets for complaints, examination findings and diagnoses, 8 prescription templates and 21 medicines. All of it is editable, so you can rename, remove or add to it to match how your clinic works. The presets speed up documentation; the clinician decides what is recorded and prescribed.
05Examples from the Pediatrics presets
Complaints you can pick from include Fever, Cough, Cold, Vomiting, Loose motions and Poor feeding. Examination findings include Fever on examination, Throat congestion, Chest wheeze, Ear discharge and Rash noted. Diagnosis labels include Viral fever, Upper respiratory tract infection, Acute gastroenteritis, Bronchiolitis and Otitis media. These are starting labels to speed up note-taking, not clinical advice.
06Pediatrics prescription templates
The starter templates are Pediatric Viral Fever, Pediatric Acute Gastroenteritis, Pediatric Upper Respiratory Infection, Pediatric Otitis Media, Pediatric Allergic Rhinitis, Pediatric Wheeze / Bronchiolitis, Pediatric Worm Infestation and Pediatric Nutritional Supplementation. Each is a pre-filled list the doctor edits before issuing, and the finished prescription can be downloaded as a PDF or sent on WhatsApp.
07Try it on real Pediatrics patients
The first 20 patients are free with the full Pediatrics workflow and no credit card, so you can run a genuine week of clinic before deciding. Solo then starts from ₹799/month and Pro from ₹1,499/month, depending on your specialty.
08Growth measurements
Anthropometry records weight, height or length, head circumference and MUAC at each visit, so a child's growth is written down each time.
09Development milestones
Gross motor, fine motor, language and social or adaptive development are each recorded as age appropriate, delayed or regression, with an overall assessment that includes the option to flag a need for formal assessment.
10Immunisation and feeding
The immunisation section records status (up to date, due, partially immunised or unimmunised), the vaccines given today and the next due, and the feeding section records breastfeeding, formula and complementary feeding.
11Records that understand age and weight
Vitals are age-aware and growth and milestones are tracked on the child's record, so a reading is judged against the child's age rather than an adult range.
12Immunisation status on the record
The paediatric examination has an Immunisation section that records status (up to date, due, partially or not immunised) and the vaccines given today, so the clinic has its own record instead of depending on the parent's card.
13Prescriptions from templates
Weight is recorded with vitals and an Anthropometry & Growth section holds height, weight and a growth interpretation. Prescriptions come from your saved templates, and the clinician sets the dose.
14Parent-friendly summaries on WhatsApp
A visit summary the parent can read is shared over WhatsApp, which is where most parents are reachable.
15What Yuktii does not do
It is built for outpatient practice: it does not run inpatient wards or operation theatres. Test the exact workflow you depend on in the free plan before committing; the first 20 patients are free with the full platform.
