01The dermatology clinic day: before and after
Without one system, a dermatology clinic typically keeps skin examination on paper, appointments in a separate register, and billing apart from the patient record — so reception, the doctor and billing are each working from a different source for the same visit. On Yuktii, one visit record carries the reception queue, skin examination and lesion / body map, prescriptions and GST billing together, so nothing has to be re-entered or reconciled by hand between the front desk and the dermatology doctor.
02Start with Patient Records
Most Dermatology clinics begin with Patient Records and Skin Examination, then add Lesion / Body Map and Clinical Photos once the team is comfortable. Appointments, prescriptions, GST billing and follow-up run on the same patient record throughout. For the full dermatology examination, documentation and patient journey, see Yuktii for dermatology.
03What is ready when you enable Dermatology
When a clinic enables dermatology in Yuktii, the app creates 109 quick-pick presets for complaints, examination findings and diagnoses, 8 prescription templates, 23 medicines, 15 consent forms and 10 procedure templates. All of it is editable, so you can rename, remove or add to it to match how your clinic works. The presets speed up documentation; the clinician decides what is recorded and prescribed.
04Examples from the Dermatology presets
Complaints you can pick from include Itching, Rash, Skin discoloration, Acne breakout, Hair loss and Mole/growth concern. Examination findings include Erythema present, Scaling noted, Papules/pustules, Hyperpigmentation and Hypopigmentation. Diagnosis labels include Acne vulgaris, Atopic dermatitis, Contact dermatitis, Psoriasis and Tinea infection. These are starting labels to speed up note-taking, not clinical advice.
05Dermatology prescription templates
The starter templates are Acne, Fungal Infection (Tinea), Urticaria / Allergic Skin Reaction, Atopic Dermatitis / Eczema, Psoriasis, Scabies, Melasma / Hyperpigmentation and Androgenetic Alopecia (Hair Fall). Each is a pre-filled list the doctor edits before issuing, and the finished prescription can be downloaded as a PDF or sent on WhatsApp.
06Try it on real Dermatology patients
The first 20 patients are free with the full Dermatology workflow and no credit card, so you can run a genuine week of clinic before deciding. Solo then starts from ₹799/month and Pro from ₹1,499/month, depending on your specialty.
07Map lesions on a body diagram
A skin examination records lesions on a front and back body view. Each lesion has a position on the diagram, a type, a size in millimetres, a colour, how long it has been present and notes, so a mole or rash is recorded where it is.
08Photos attached to the lesion
Clinical photos can be attached to a lesion or to a procedure, and photos taken for a procedure can be marked as before or after, so the images stay with the treatment history. Attaching photos to lesions depends on the clinical photos capability being enabled for the clinic.
09Ten procedure templates and their consents
The dermatology starter kit includes procedure templates for skin biopsy, cryotherapy, electrocautery, comedone extraction, wart removal, excision biopsy, chemical peel, PRP therapy for hair, phototherapy sessions and filler or botulinum injection, and 15 consent forms including clinical photography, isotretinoin therapy, laser and chemical peel. All are editable.
10A structured skin examination and body map
The skin examination is structured, and a body/lesion map records where findings are, so a lesion is a marked site on the record rather than a sentence in a note.
11Clinical photos attached to the visit
Clinical photos are captured against the patient record and the visit they belong to, so before-and-after comparison does not depend on a phone gallery.
12Procedure templates and multi-sitting courses
Procedures such as chemical peels and cautery use templates and are planned as courses of several sittings, with consent forms held on the same record.
13What Yuktii does not do
It is built for outpatient practice: it does not run inpatient wards or operation theatres. Test the exact workflow you depend on in the free plan before committing; the first 20 patients are free with the full platform.
