The problem
A blanket six-month recall ignores how different patients are
The NICE clinical guideline on dental recall (CG19, UK) recommends that the interval between oral health reviews be tailored to the patient's disease risk, ranging from 3 to 24 months for adults and 3 to 12 months for patients under 18, and that the interval be reviewed at each check-up using the patient's response and the outcomes achieved. It is a UK guideline and Indian clinics set their own protocols, but the principle is the same: a fixed six months over-recalls low-risk patients and under-recalls high-risk ones, and whichever interval is chosen, someone has to remember to act on it.
How Clinov solves it
The interval on the record, the list in front of reception
Yuktii keeps follow-ups and recalls on the patient record, sets them from the visit, and shows reception a due list with WhatsApp reminders, so the interval you chose is the one that happens.
