01The neurology clinic day: before and after
Without one system, a neurology clinic typically keeps neurological examination on paper, appointments in a separate register, and billing apart from the patient record — so reception, the doctor and billing are each working from a different source for the same visit. On Yuktii, one visit record carries the reception queue, neurological examination and imaging & eeg on record, prescriptions and GST billing together, so nothing has to be re-entered or reconciled by hand between the front desk and the neurology doctor.
02Start with Patient Records
Most Neurology clinics begin with Patient Records and Neurological Examination, then add Imaging & EEG on record and Medication Review once the team is comfortable. Appointments, prescriptions, GST billing and follow-up run on the same patient record throughout. For the full neurology examination, documentation and patient journey, see Yuktii for neurology.
03What the Neurology examination records
The structured neurological examination has 7 sections: Higher Mental Function, Cranial Nerves, Motor, Reflexes, Sensory, Coordination & Gait and Meningeal / Other Signs. Findings are picked from lists or typed in, and are saved on the visit record. Some sections record specific fields, for example motor (right upper limb, left upper limb, right lower limb, left lower limb and bulk & tone) and reflexes (upper limb, lower limb and plantar).
04What is ready when you enable Neurology
When a clinic enables neurology in Yuktii, the app creates a structured neurological examination module, 85 quick-pick presets for complaints, examination findings and diagnoses, 8 prescription templates and 22 medicines. All of it is editable, so you can rename, remove or add to it to match how your clinic works. The presets speed up documentation; the clinician decides what is recorded and prescribed.
05Examples from the Neurology presets
Complaints you can pick from include Headache, Migraine, Dizziness, Numbness, Tingling sensation and Weakness in limbs. Examination findings include Reduced muscle power, Abnormal reflexes, Gait instability, Tremor noted and Sensory loss. Diagnosis labels include Migraine, Tension headache, Epilepsy, Stroke and Peripheral neuropathy. These are starting labels to speed up note-taking, not clinical advice.
06Neurology prescription templates
The starter templates are Migraine, Tension Headache, Epilepsy — Maintenance, Peripheral Neuropathy, Vertigo, Stroke Secondary Prevention, Parkinson's Disease and Dementia. Each is a pre-filled list the doctor edits before issuing, and the finished prescription can be downloaded as a PDF or sent on WhatsApp.
07Try it on real Neurology patients
The first 20 patients are free with the full Neurology workflow and no credit card, so you can run a genuine week of clinic before deciding. Solo then starts from ₹799/month and Pro from ₹1,499/month, depending on your specialty.
08Cranial nerves and higher function
The neurological examination starts with higher mental function and cranial nerves, then motor, reflexes, sensory, coordination and gait, and meningeal signs, in the order a neurologist examines.
09Power recorded per limb
Motor findings include bulk and tone and power on the MRC 0 to 5 scale for each upper and lower limb, so weakness is described by limb and grade at every follow-up.
10Reflexes, gait and meningeal signs
Reflexes are recorded for the upper and lower limbs with the plantar response. Coordination, gait patterns and meningeal signs such as neck stiffness and Kernig and Brudzinski signs have their own options.
