01The dietitian clinic day: before and after
Without one system, a dietitian clinic typically keeps diet plans on paper, appointments in a separate register, and billing apart from the patient record — so reception, the doctor and billing are each working from a different source for the same visit. On Yuktii, one visit record carries the reception queue, diet plans and diet plan templates, prescriptions and GST billing together, so nothing has to be re-entered or reconciled by hand between the front desk and the dietitian doctor.
02Start with Patient Records
Most Dietitian clinics begin with Patient Records and Diet Plans, then add Diet Plan Templates and Supplement Prescriptions once the team is comfortable. Appointments, prescriptions, GST billing and follow-up run on the same patient record throughout. For the full dietitian examination, documentation and patient journey, see Yuktii for dietitian.
03What is ready when you enable Dietitian
When a clinic enables dietitian in Yuktii, the app creates 79 quick-pick presets for complaints, examination findings and diagnoses, 8 prescription templates and 20 medicines. All of it is editable, so you can rename, remove or add to it to match how your clinic works. The presets speed up documentation; the clinician decides what is recorded and prescribed.
04Examples from the Dietitian presets
Complaints you can pick from include Weight gain, Weight loss, Poor appetite, Diabetes diet query, PCOS diet query and Digestive issues. Examination findings include Elevated BMI, Low BMI, Muscle wasting, Poor dietary habits noted and Nutrient deficiency signs. Diagnosis labels include Obesity, Undernutrition, Vitamin D deficiency, Vitamin B12 deficiency and Iron deficiency. These are starting labels to speed up note-taking, not clinical advice.
05Dietitian prescription templates
The starter templates are Nutrient Supplementation, Weight Loss Support, Weight Gain Support, Iron Deficiency Anemia, Vitamin D & Calcium Deficiency, PCOS Nutrition Support, Sports Nutrition Support and Gut Health Support. Each is a pre-filled list the doctor edits before issuing, and the finished prescription can be downloaded as a PDF or sent on WhatsApp.
06Try it on real Dietitian patients
The first 20 patients are free with the full Dietitian workflow and no credit card, so you can run a genuine week of clinic before deciding. Solo then starts from ₹799/month and Pro from ₹1,499/month, depending on your specialty.
07Build the diet plan in the consultation
A diet plan records the diet type (for example low carb or vegetarian), a calorie target such as 1800 kcal/day, foods to avoid, general instructions and a list of meals. Each meal has a name, a time and a description, such as breakfast with two idli and sambar. The dietitian types these in, so the plan is exactly what they intended.
08Reusable diet-plan templates
A template holds a diet type, calorie target, foods to avoid, instructions and meals. Start a patient's plan from a template, then edit it for that patient, instead of retyping the same weight-loss or diabetic chart each time.
09Send the plan on WhatsApp as a PDF
Each plan is saved on the patient record with its own number and can be sent to the patient as a PDF on WhatsApp, provided the clinic has WhatsApp set up. The patient gets a clean chart instead of a photo of a handwritten sheet.
10Presets for the nutrition consultation
Quick-pick presets cover the common nutrition complaints (weight gain, weight loss, PCOS diet query, diabetes diet query, thyroid diet query, child nutrition query), findings such as elevated BMI or low fibre intake, advice such as portion control or food diary, and diagnosis labels such as obesity, iron deficiency and vitamin D deficiency. They are starting points the dietitian edits.
11Supplements and follow-up
Eight editable supplement prescription templates cover nutrient supplementation, weight loss and weight gain support, iron deficiency anaemia, vitamin D and calcium, PCOS, sports nutrition and gut health. Recall lists and WhatsApp reminders help bring patients back for their review.
