01The cardiology clinic day: before and after
Without one system, a cardiology clinic typically keeps vitals & bp readings on paper, appointments in a separate register, and billing apart from the patient record — so reception, the doctor and billing are each working from a different source for the same visit. On Yuktii, one visit record carries the reception queue, vitals & bp readings and cardiac examination, prescriptions and GST billing together, so nothing has to be re-entered or reconciled by hand between the front desk and the cardiology doctor.
02Start with Patient Records
Most Cardiology clinics begin with Patient Records and Vitals & BP Readings, then add Cardiac Examination and Clinical Documentation once the team is comfortable. Appointments, prescriptions, GST billing and follow-up run on the same patient record throughout. For the full cardiology examination, documentation and patient journey, see Yuktii for cardiology.
03What the Cardiology examination records
The structured cardiac examination has 8 sections: General, Pulse, Blood Pressure, JVP, Precordium, Heart Sounds, Murmurs and Peripheral & Systemic. Findings are picked from lists or typed in, and are saved on the visit record. Some sections record specific fields, for example general (general condition and peripheral signs), pulse (rate (bpm), rhythm, volume and special) and blood pressure (right arm, left arm and postural drop).
04What is ready when you enable Cardiology
When a clinic enables cardiology in Yuktii, the app creates a structured cardiac examination module, 84 quick-pick presets for complaints, examination findings and diagnoses, 8 prescription templates and 21 medicines. All of it is editable, so you can rename, remove or add to it to match how your clinic works. The presets speed up documentation; the clinician decides what is recorded and prescribed.
05Examples from the Cardiology presets
Complaints you can pick from include Chest pain, Breathlessness, Palpitations, Dizziness, Fainting spells and Swelling in legs. Examination findings include Elevated blood pressure, Irregular pulse, Tachycardia, Bradycardia and Pedal edema. Diagnosis labels include Hypertension, Coronary artery disease, Stable angina, Arrhythmia and Heart failure. These are starting labels to speed up note-taking, not clinical advice.
06Cardiology prescription templates
The starter templates are Hypertension, Stable Angina, Dyslipidemia, Post-MI Secondary Prevention, Heart Failure, Atrial Fibrillation, Acute Chest Pain (Emergency Relief) and Arrhythmia (Rate Control). Each is a pre-filled list the doctor edits before issuing, and the finished prescription can be downloaded as a PDF or sent on WhatsApp.
07Try it on real Cardiology patients
The first 20 patients are free with the full Cardiology workflow and no credit card, so you can run a genuine week of clinic before deciding. Solo then starts from ₹799/month and Pro from ₹1,499/month, depending on your specialty.
08Pulse, blood pressure and JVP
The cardiac examination records pulse rate, rhythm, volume and special pulse findings, blood pressure in each arm with postural drop, and JVP height.
09Precordium, heart sounds and murmurs
Apex beat, heaves and thrills, S1 and S2, added sounds such as S3 and S4 gallops, and murmurs by timing and site of maximum intensity each have a field, so the auscultation findings are recorded in consistent terms.
10Peripheral signs and follow-up
Peripheral pulses, oedema, lung bases and the abdomen are recorded on the same examination. For a chronic patient, recalls and the visit history keep blood pressure follow-up on schedule.
11A structured cardiac examination
A structured cardiac examination records findings consistently at each visit.
12BP and pulse at every visit
Blood pressure and pulse are recorded with each visit and stay on the patient record, so earlier readings are on file rather than on separate slips.
13ECG, Echo and lipid reports filed with the patient
You can advise and file ECG, Echo and lipid reports against the patient, so results sit beside the visit that asked for them. Direct integration with ECG or Echo machines is not claimed.
14Templates for hypertension and CAD
Prescription templates for common regimens such as hypertension and coronary artery disease, with disciplined follow-up so chronic patients keep returning.
15What Yuktii does not do
It is built for outpatient practice: it does not run inpatient wards or operation theatres. Test the exact workflow you depend on in the free plan before committing; the first 20 patients are free with the full platform.
