How much do no-shows cost your clinic?

How it is calculated

  • No-shows per month = appointments per day × no-show rate × working days.
  • Revenue affected per month = no-shows per month × average consultation fee.
  • Recoverable = revenue affected × the share you assume reminders could recover.

Common questions

Is this the money I actually lose?

It is the consultation revenue attached to the appointments that were booked but not attended. If you can refill some of those slots the true loss is smaller; the calculator does not know your waiting list.

What is a normal no-show rate?

It varies by clinic, specialty and city, so this tool does not assume one. Count missed appointments over a month and divide by appointments booked to get your own.

How can a clinic reduce no-shows?

Confirm at booking, remind before the visit in a channel patients read, and follow up after a miss. Yuktii supports appointment reminders and follow-ups on WhatsApp.
